If you're looking for the best wine in Paso Robles, look no further—this place is nothing short of magical. From the moment you step onto the property, you’re greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel like part of the family. And did I mention the FREE wine tasting and tour? Yes, FREE! It’s not just a tasting; it’s an experience, one that immerses you in the heart and soul of the winery.

What truly sets this place apart is Gary's philosophy: “Good wine sells itself.” It’s so true. You can taste the passion and dedication in every sip, and I can't help but feel connected to the land with each glass. The customer service here is outstanding—everyone is genuinely passionate about sharing the story of the winery and its owner. And trust me, you’ll want to hear it! But I won’t spoil the surprise—you have to experience it for yourself.

As for the wine… oh, the Cabernet. It’s a full-bodied masterpiece. Every drop reflects the care and love poured into the grapes, all grown on their own vineyard. You can taste the difference—the depth, the richness, the complexity. It’s simply the best I’ve had in Paso, and I’m already counting the days until my next visit. This is a must-see, must-taste destination for any wine lover.

Visited this location in December 2024.
Drove from Fresno to this winery specifically after having their wines shipped.
Tried out the tasting room, and we had Madi as our expert tasting room employee helping out.
Ended up buying quite a bit of wine to ship back to our home. Their new Muscat liquor is really neat, as is their full boar red.

Winery has quite a lot of cool views, and there are cave tours if you’re interested.
Very relaxed atmosphere, no pressure to buy all the things. Great wine, solid customer service.

Will definitely visit again, and continue buying their wines.

We love stopping by Eberle whenever we visit or drive thru Paso Robles! The staff is awesome and always welcomes us with joy and cheer! Lisa, Jennifer and Tamara treat us like family and brought out the holiday spirit today & the vino was absolute after a long drive. The wines are delicious and the generous pours are always a delight discovering the new vintages. Right now the Sangiovese shines, and the Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is a perfect representation of deep reds at a great price point. Eberle wines are super reasonable compared to other PR wineries but the welcome & hospitality is unmatched. Bravo!!!

Very cool winery! Free tastings and free tour of their super cool cave system! Definitely worth a stop if you are traveling around Paso Robles. Did I mention they had free tastings?!? Anyways, the owner is very pro-military and offers a 40% military discount!

Just had an amazing experience at Eberle. Kirk, our tasting guide, possessed a wealth of knowledge about the vineyard and its history. He could not have been more entertaining, informative, and just generous with his time and tasting! Thoroughly enjoyed all the wines- all the reds have elegance and depth- but are less in your face than some California reds, but so smooth, lovely and enjoyable. We will be back!! In the day and age when everywhere is reservations only and super pricey, Eberle is a breath of fresh air- with years of quality to back up their stellar reputation.

4.5 stars simply because of how busy this place can get...the staff are generally friendly and knowledgeable about their wines and the tour of the underground cave/cellar is 100% worth the visit (it only takes about 15 mins). I definitely recommend reservations but you can do a walk-in late in the day and try to catch the 4:15pm "bar call" for the tour. The rose was best of the tasting offerings on the day we visited.

We have been to Paso three or four times now and we finally got to Eberle to see what all the hype was about. As soon as we were seated, some feller brought over a little barbecue I guess that the owner does sometimes special for the guest. We then had our complimentary tasting before our 30-minute wine cave tour. Even with a larger group, it was welcoming and accommodating. Being this was our third stop on our tasting day, we opted to buy some of their nice glasses to take home. If you go to Paso and don't go to Eberle you are missing out. Next time hoping to have a few glasses on the patio while listening to the live music.

Great wine with even more amazing staff! Got a tour of the cellar-caves and tasted all the wines. Their wine-tasting is free, as well as the tour. Make sure you reserve ahead of time.

The cabernet is fantastic as well as the sangiovese.

Dog friendly place!
