Went with a group of 4 for my birthday. Our server was a little overwhelmed I think when we were first seated, so the initial greeting and water and first drink were a bit slow. She got on top of things after that and was excellent for the remainder of the dinner. We shared Meatballs and Calamari appetizers. The meatballs had good flavor but were a bit too dense. The calamari was top notch. Really crisp, light and tender. Maybe the best I have had. We had the Spicy Rigatoni Vodka and it was magnificent. I hate to admit it, but their Vodka sauce is better than mine. For a main, I had the Braised Short Rib Marsala. The flavor was good, but unfortunately the short rib was dry and chewy, It was disappointing. I have given 4 stars for food as flavor wise all was good and there were standouts, but all in all a little inconsistent. I will definitely be back to try other dishes.

North Italia in Phoenix is a fantastic dining spot that beautifully blends Italian flavors with a modern twist. I recently visited and started my meal with the calamari fritti, which was perfectly crispy and flavorful—a delightful way to kick off the evening.

The white truffle garlic bread was a highlight; the rich truffle flavor paired wonderfully with the garlic, making it hard to resist a second helping. However, I did find the braised short rib lumache a bit too salty for my taste. While the meat was tender and the pasta cooked well, the seasoning overshadowed the dish's natural flavors.

To finish off, the tiramisu was a perfect conclusion. It was light, creamy, and had just the right amount of coffee flavor. The ambiance of the restaurant is inviting, and the staff were attentive and friendly, making for an enjoyable experience overall.

Despite the minor hiccup with the short rib, North Italia impresses with its menu and atmosphere. I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy quality Italian cuisine in Phoenix.

Free valet parking, work on tips. The building lets a lot of natural light which gives a very welcoming atmosphere. Love the seating. Love how you could see the kitchen which shows the confidence in the cooking. Servers were awesome and attentive. The food is so good. You need to try the white truffle garlic bread!

I have been to this restaurant and some of their other locations multiple times and I really enjoy their food. My favorites are the beet salad and the roasted salmon. You can see how they are making pasta from the scratch in the kitchen and it is very interesting. My kids love the chicken strips and spaghetti and meatballs.

It's fine. Feels like the kind of place my dad would love. Valet parking so you're not out in the heat, great bar, and pizza for the grandkids. The entrees are kinda bland for my tastes but the service here is impeccable.

This was a very nice and unique dining option for us! Our favorite food item was then white truffle bread! We ate it so quickly I forgot to take a picture! My husband got their spicy rigatoni vodka and it was very tasty and I ordered the ricotta cavatelli! It was very cool to be able to see them prep our pastas and make our food! We would recommend eating here for sure!

I’ve had the pleasure of visiting multiple North Italia locations over the years, and am happy to report that this location absolutely holds up to the name. Delicious food. Plain and simply, delicious food. The wine selection here is also excellent. The servers at this location also do an excellent job.

Going to miss this place when I return home.
